Lawrence Academy, behind the strong goaltending of Bo Christini, defeated

Tabor 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the New England Prep School Hockey

Tournament. Stephen Wood put Lawrence on the board at 9:14 of the first

period when he rifled a shot past Artie Imbriano on the power play. Kevin

Brooks tallied the next LA goal at 5:06 when he knocked a rebound of his

own shot past Imbriano. Both teams had quality scoring chances in the

third period, but neither team could capitalize on them. Imbriano played a

strong game in the Tabor goal as he kicked out 28 out of the 30 shots that

he faced. LA moves on to the semi-finals where they will play the winner

of the Taft-Avon game at 8:10 p.m. Saturday in Salem, New Hampshire.
