  Westminster 2, Canterbury 0
-- Wed. Jan. 19, 2000 at New Milford, Conn. Jeff Natale's two second period goals were the difference today as
Westminster, behind Phil Lauderdale's 24 saves, shut out Canterbury 2-0.

Westminster played a disciplined defensive game on the road and

capitalized on two defensive mistakes by the Saints to come away with the

win.  Both of Natale's goals were unassisted, and the first was

    shorthanded.

Jeff Natale was the star as he scored twice within two minutes to lead

Westminster over Canterbury 2-0.  Natale showed great patience in scoring

the first goal, as he blocked an intended clearing pass by the Canterbury

goalie and waited with poise for an open net goal.  He followed that up

with a close range snipe just inside the post to make the score 2-0.
  Phil

Lauderdale was strong as usual in net, notching his fourth shutout with 23

  saves.
