Actually, the NMH/Winchendon thing last year was a result of confusion over

which districts the two teams were in--while NMH is west of Winchendon, NMH

plays in the Eastern Conference and Winchendon the Western of the new New

England Prep Hockey league. For consistency's sake, we decided that NMH

should be considered an Eastern team (with their conference mates such as

Exeter, Cushing, etc.), while Winchendon should be in the West for the same

reason. There was no gerrymandering of the brackets, only clarification

and, in a sense, a realignment of east/west.
