Note:

For a little post-hockey entertainment we have a hot tip. About five miles south of the Olympia the Eastern States Exposition -- "The Big E" -- will be getting underway. For those of you unitiated in the delights of enormous fairs, we should point out that this is the Big E's centennial celebration. Perhaps you'll be lucky and be able to catch the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs or the White Hut Cheeseburg Eating Contest (sponsored by Major League Eating).

We're sure there are plenty of places to buy your own burgers. Or you might want to head on over to Poutine Gourmet, which certainly offers a direct connection to hockey culture. If you dare, you can always follow that up with a ride on the Tilt-a-Whirl. Mmmm. Fun.
