New England Prep Hockey Rankings

Rank Record The Skinny
1
Berkshire
18-2-3
(2) The Bears move into the #1 spot on the heels of a 19-game unbeaten streak. It has now been over 2 months since their last loss. The Bears top 8 leading scorers are all juniors, which is scary for everyone else.
2
Belmont Hill
19-2-1
(3) The Hillies’ continue their strong overall play, extending their winning streak to nine games. They will look to avenge their only Keller Division loss when they travel to Milton on Wednesday.
3
Kimball Union
19-2-0
(1) After last week's OT upset at Andover, the question remains: will the late-season loss be what the doctor ordered for a team that was just rolling, perhaps having it a little too easy? They have a big game at home vs. Cushing on Saturday.
4
Frederick Gunn School
18-2-4
(4) They posted their first shutout of the season with a 3-0 win over Avon this week. They were certainly due for one as they had allowed only one goal in 10 different times this season.
5
Dexter
16-1-5
(5) Offensive juggernaut put up eight goals for the third time in the past six games. Duo of Ryan Donato (49 pts) and Trevor Fidler (48 pts) both should crack the 50-point barrier any day now.
6
Salisbury
13-5-2
(8) Crimson Knights have now gone 6-2-1 over their past nine games. They have allowed one goal or less in 5 of those 9 games. They travel to Avon on Saturday.
7
Kent
12-5-3
(6) After losing back-to-back games, the Lions bounced back with a 7-1 win over Brunswick on Monday. Five games coming up over the next two weeks. The pressure is on them to keep winning.
8
Choate
10-6-3
(9) The Wild Boars might have the youngest team in prep hockey with 11 players that are either freshmen or sophomores. They will be battled tested with 5 straight road games coming up. Choate can't lose any more games like the one they gave up to Pomfret last Wednesday.
9
Cushing
13-6-4
(10) A nice balanced attack out in Ashburnham, as the Penguins have eight skaters with 20 points or more on the season. A big tilt coming up Saturday @ KUA.
10
Exeter
11-6-4
(NR) The Griffins find their way back into our Top 10, after a hiatus lasting a couple of weeks. Sophomore goalie Michael Lackey has taken the reins in net for Exeter, posting a .913 save percentage.
* Note: Only games between NEPSIHA Div. I schools -- the principal factor in determining seedings for the playoffs -- are included in the won-lost records above.
